The Mask INFAMOUSLY turns green when the mask possess their person (all of the comments about being green make a lot more sense now, right?), and within the comics he regularly wears a yellow suit (See comic cover above), thus the comment about being a yellow fellow.

And the, SSSSSSSSMOLDERING comment is a callback to the movie(?) I believe.

He's also bullet proof, from what I know, so when the police shoot at him it either bounces off or goes right through him. Hence the death in that scene too-

The Mask, from his comics, is generally known as an all-over-the-place type character in the same kind of world, but it is some of the FUNNIEST and most over the top idiot revenge fantasies I've ever read. I got into the mask as a character when I was but a smaller tween. It was perfect for a rageful kid like me. The movies were my favorite things for a long time.

SO THE FACT THAT NO ONE TALKS ABOUT THE MASK BEING IN THE ROGUES! PODCAST MAKES ME THINK THAT EITHER; PEOPLE DONT KNOW, OR THEY DONT CARE.

While you were walking, you saw a head peak out one of the door making you stop in your tracks, sinu immediately pulled his head inside, waiting for you to walk past so he could snatch you.

"Nah..jit tryna kidnap me, thats crazy..." You took slow steps, backing to the other side of the hall so the man couldn't grab you, it that was his plan, either way, you had seen him.

"Dammit! You saw me! And I thought I was hidden very well" he sulked making you chuckle.

Sinu signaled you to come closer, rolling his eyes when you only stepped a few steps towards so he grabbed your wrist and pulled you inside the room.

Slowly pulling away the oni mask, his eyes widened when he saw the familiar face, Sinu stared at you in shock, of course he knew you! He couldn't remember where or when, but he definitely knew you.

"Y/n?! Y/n right??! I- I know you!" He shook you by the shoulders, sinu didnt remember you having a scar, but who cares?

"So you do remember me? I missed you, sinu" Sinu's chest ached when you gave him a sad frown, name leaving your mouth laced with the softest tone.

He wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you closer, hugging you tightly as if you'd disappear any second.

You felt a part on top of your head get heavy, tears. "I can't remember when but I swear I remember you, I could never forget you" he cried, burying his face into your head, taking in the sweet aroma of your shampoo.

Sinu pulled away and traced the scars on your face "what happened y/n?" He asked, his eyebrows knitting, his face falling into a worried one when you started tearing up.

You really were...having no idea what happened to him and the last time you saw your childhood friend – he didnt even recognize you which made everything worse.

Its as if...his heart melted right there, how can someones smile just bright up his day like that?

While time was passing, you tried to figure out why he forgot almost everything, maybe an accident? 'He does have new scars..'

The man even took of his shirt just for you to see, his body going stiff at the fingers that ran over the scars on his chest, shoulders and stomach.

Sinu kept you in his embrace as you sat on his lap "You're spacing out, what wrong?" You shook your head "nothing, just thinking about the lecture I'm boutta get"

"Well, I really have to go now :(" you shut off your phone after the message Eugene sent you "Wait! Aren't you gonna pepper my face with kisses? Like back then-?"

Sinu clutched his head after something slipped out, did you even do that? What was he blabbering about? Did he make you uncomfortable?

Your smile widened, The smile taking over after calming his train of thoughts.

"of course!!" The black haired man laughed while you gave his whole face small pecks.

You looked at him, confused when he grabbed your face. "You don't know...how much I missed you" you parted your lips as Sinu came nearer.

Did he do this before? It was so...familiar...it was his head– playing out an image where you participated in, your thighs were hugging his hips and–!

He gripped the flesh of yout upper legs when your lips locked, both your eyes closing to feel the passionate, long lasting kiss.

Sinu held you in a welcoming embrace "I don't know what's the situation, but I'm sure it'll get better, Trust me! My guts are never wrong!" He posed making you laugh, the genuine laugh he hadn't heard in years, it made blood rush to his cheeks.

Sinu was thankful your sad face disappeared and got replaced with a cheerful one. You wrapped your arms around sinus neck pulling him towards you to continue what he started.

You whined against him when Sinu grinded your heat against the meaty surface of his rough thigh by the hips. Pouting when he broke the kiss, you stared at him confused.

the man demanded, looking at you with desire that he hadn't to speak up about, it was all shining up his eye that was half lidded, focusing on you.

It takes place in karakura town at night as a young divine miko (servant of the gods) by the name of Kagome Higurashi, walked away from the substitute soul Reaper, Ichigo Kurosaki, after nearly getting eaten by a hollow (a monstrous soul-eating spirit that results when a deceased soul is consumed by negative emotions or is forcibly converted by other hollows.).

“Kagome!”

Yelled the orange headed male as he turned and noticed kagome walking away from him.

Kagome flinched before wiping her tears away to hide the sorrow and pain from when she and Ichigo argued yesterday before she halted on walking any farther, but did not turn to look at Ichigo.

“What do you want? Kurosaki?”

She spoke, voice shaky as she rubbed her eyes, more fresh tears falling as she looked ahead, she doesn't need ichigo to save her all of the time when there's a hollow attack nearby.

“Kagome….’

It was silent, except for the sound of footsteps approaching her.

“Why can't you just-”

“Just what…..? Mm? To not be a problem? Stop getting in your way? I don’t need you to protect Me-”

She was interrupted by the sound of ichigo yelling at her, causing her to stop talking.

She had never seen him act like this before….he usually acts all aloof and always has that scowl on his face, even when he’s battling hollows….so why? Why does he have that pained look on his face? It’s like inuyasha all over again.

“Ichigo….”

Kagome mumbled and flinched when he grabbed her by her arms and pulled her closer, His Zanpakutō (Spirit sword) on his back as he leaned down and looked at her with pain in his eyes, tears beginning to gather in his eyes….

He was interrupted by kagome hugging him, causing him to stumble a bit from the impact of the hug before he returned the hug after hearing her cry and her reply ok “im sorry”s and “okay”s from him as they silently comforted each other, a silent vow to protect each other.

Don't know if this has been recommended but Hateful Ever After by Ellise or honestly the majority of her songs for Addams Leosagi. P.S. I absolutely adore this AU, it's such a unique crossover that clearly has so much effort and love put into it. I love how you take toxic relationships and portray it in a way that shows that it should never be romanticized and normalized. It such a fresh breath of air to be able to enjoy angst and not have to worry about if the person behind it truly believes relationships work that way. Giovanni has never felt so free.

He clung to Tigerclaw’s fury frame as sobs shook his body. He cried and cried. He cried until he felt nauseated because he watched his terrible future die in front of him. He killed the physical manifestation of who he could’ve become with his own hands. There was nothing left to chain him, he was free to flourish and live.

He was happy.

And nothing could take that away.

“You did great young cub.” Tigerclaw gently hugged Van. “I’m proud of you.” With the joyful cries of his family behind him every felt perfect, and Van felt at peace.

A peace that was quickly destroyed by a single noise.

A single scream that ripped through the air, tore apart his heart and shattered his peace. A scream he never thought he’d hear.

The scream of his twin.

The scream of Leonardo.

Van ripped himself from Tigerclaw's hold dashing to the noise that seemed to tear his world apart. His shouts fell upon deaf ears as Van launched himself to the blaze searching for his twin brother.

“LEONARDO!” He ducked and weaved through the collapsing rubble, becoming increasingly desperate with every unanswered cry. “LEO!” He heard the distant shouts from the rest of his family join the symphony of collapsing concrete as they all searched for the leader. Dread pooled in his gut as the seconds ticked away and ideas of the worst flooded his mind.

“LEO PLEASE!” Giovanni felt his throat squeeze when he was met with nothing. He had to fight back terrified tears as he scoured the rubble.

Then he heard it. A terrified and pained chirp just a few feet away.

Suddenly Van was in a mad dash to his twin, following the pained whimpers and cries. It turned his blood to ice to hear all this from Leo. His brother came into view pinned under the rubble.

“LEE!” He watched Leonardo strain to turn his head, tears stained his face as his eyes went wide.

“Van!” Leo reached out for his twin, straining to grab onto Giovanni’s arm.

“It’s ok Lee, I’m here. I’ve got you.” He took his brother's hand not missing the blood that coated it. His tone went serious as he began scanning his brother for the injury as he gripped a chunk of the wreckage. “Leo. I’m gunna get this rubble off of you ok?”

“No” Leonardo squeezed Van’s arm tight, a slight desperation bled into his voice. “Vanni don’t please.”

Giovanni hesitated pulling back the chunk of concrete he held in his hands.

“Lee, if you're injured I have to move the rubble to try and help you. I need to know what exactly I’m dealing with.” Leonardo just shook his head, panic in his eyes. Ignoring his protests Giovanni removed the debris revealing what Leonardo was so desperate to hide.

A thick rebar pierced through his abdomen. Fragments of his shell littered the floor around the injury in the growing viscous pool below him. It made Giovanni gag. He fought back his own nausea, tearing away his gaze to look back up to Leonardo.

“I’m sorry Vanni.” Leo’s voice was hoarse and his breathing was getting shallow. He pulled on Giovanni’s arm to bring him down close enough for Leonardo to wrap his arm around him. Giovanni pulled his twin into a hug shaking his head sniffling into his twin’s shoulder.

“Nonono don’t apologize.” Van whispered. “None of this is your fault. None of this.”

The twins cried into each other, one clinging to the other as Leo’s grip got weaker. As his breathing got shallower. As his head began to loll to the side.

“I love you brother.” Leo whispered. “and I’m proud of who you’ve become.” Van never thought he could ever hate a collection of words so much.

“I love you too Leo.” Giovanni said as he laid down his dying brother. He watched Leonardo softly smile as he took his last breath. As the light in his eyes faded.

He watched his twin leave him.

And for the second time that night Giovanni cried.

idk if this is rlly unpopular but i get a little frustrated by his inconsistent characterisation in the show, esp in s8 compared to other seasons. i get that he does whatever the writers think is funniest but sometimes he does or says something and im like ":( lister wouldn't say that......." even though he is literally saying it in canon lol

also i think he needs more love in the fandom maybe. or more fics abt him getting a hug or something. this dude is depressed and lonely as hell and it makes me so sad can rimmer give him a hug PLEASE

one thing i wish would happen/had happened with this character in canon:

i wish his relationship with kochanski had gotten a proper resolution/he could move on from her and stop pursuing her romantically....... ive made longer posts abt this before but i just feel like his initial crush on her was just a shallow schoolboy kind of crush and it feels like a disservice to both of them that he's still chasing after her after getting to know her and them clearly not being romantically compatible. like in some episodes they're best friends but then the writing goes back to having lister treat her like an object rather than a person and it irritates me. i wish they could just be friends bc i adore their friendship and when lister interacts with her in a platonic way it's clear that there's such a fun dynamic there but it was utilised so rarely :(

my crossover ship:

ohhhh i don't rlly tend to do crossover ships so this was a hard one....... not rlly a ship more of a friendship but i would love to see him interact with the doctor from dr who lol. ik it's kind of a predictable choice as a crossover bc they're both british sci fi but i think depending on the iteration of the doctor they could either get along rlly well or hate each other and either way it would be very very funny.

i also think it would be fun to do a disco elysium crossover sometime. i would love to know what he'd think of harry and kim, i have a feeling he'd get along rlly well with kim but maybe that's just me

how i feel about this character:

ohhh i hate him but i love him so much. an awful person but a great character and unfortunately very relatable sometimes. i want to hug him and hold him so gently but i also want to put him in a hydraulic press. out of all of the rd characters he's probably the one i think about the most unfortunately. you know how it is

any/all the people i ship romantically with this character:

lister of course! and ig some of the au listers, like the one in the rat universe lol. but really it's just the main lister tbh. i just can't see him with anyone else

my favourite non-romantic relationship/friendship for this character:

sorry but it's lister again lol. like his friendship with lister. their dynamic is just so fun, i think my all time favourite scenes are the ones where they're together....... moonlight and sunlight etc etc etc

my unpopular opinion about this character:

it's a pretty generic opinion but i don't believe that any of his attempts at flirting with women/seeming attracted to women in canon are genuine lol. it always feels very forced and unnatural to me. that man is a deeply closeted and confused gay boy and i can't see him any other way tbh. i think he WANTS to be straight so bad but he is not. not even a little bit

one thing i wish would happen/had happened with this character in canon:

i wish his character development would stick more! like ik he has to be bitchy for the comedy and that's fine im not saying he has to suddenly be nice or whatever but it's frustrating to see him grow a little bit as a person or overcome one of his insecurities only to go back to being even worse than before in the very next episode........ he is a little more mellow in later seasons than he was in the earlier ones but not by much, and i feel like things like learning abt his real father and going off to be ace and stuff should have had a real visible impact on him instead of just. not changing anything lol

my crossover ship:
